The paper deals with the one- and two-dimensional problems of coupled electroelastic nonstationary vibrations of a piezoceramic preliminary radially polarized cylinder. The construction of efficient finite difference schemes based on the conservation of energy for an electromechanical system is proposed. The author investigates stability and accuracy of these schemes and obtains a priori estimations for difference solutions; this allows to prove their convergence to the exact solution of differential equations. A number of numerical examples, demonstrating efficiency of the proposed methodology, are discussed.
